Mechanism of Action
- Dicyclomine (Anticholinergic Antispasmodic): Blocks muscarinic receptors in GI smooth muscle, reducing involuntary spasms and cramping β relieving colicky abdominal pain
- Paracetamol (Analgesic/Antipyretic): Acts centrally to raise the pain threshold and reduce fever by inhibiting central prostaglandin synthesis
Together they provide both peripheral antispasmodic relief and central pain control.
Instructions to Take
- Take with or after food
- Do not exceed the recommended dose β excess Paracetamol causes liver damage
- Avoid other Paracetamol-containing products simultaneously
- If you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered β do not double up
- Store in a cool, dry place
