Mechanism of Action YUVIMONT-AL combines three active ingredients, each working through a distinct mechanism:
- Ambroxol (75 mg): A mucolytic agent that thins and loosens mucus in the airways, facilitating easier expectoration and clearing of the respiratory tract
- Levocetirizine (5 mg): A second-generation antihistamine that blocks H1 receptors, providing effective relief from allergic symptoms including runny nose, sneezing, and watery eyes with minimal sedation
- Montelukast (10 mg): A selective leukotriene receptor antagonist that blocks the action of leukotrienes — inflammatory mediators responsible for airway constriction and mucus secretion — thereby reducing airway inflammation and improving breathing
