Mechanism of Action
- Cefixime: Inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis by binding to PBPs, causing bacterial lysis and death
- Clavulanic Acid (Beta-Lactamase Inhibitor): Irreversibly inhibits beta-lactamase enzymes produced by resistant bacteria, protecting Cefixime from enzymatic degradation and restoring its antibacterial effectiveness against resistant strains
Together they extend the spectrum of activity to include beta-lactamase-producing resistant organisms.
Instructions to Take

- Swallow whole with a full glass of water
- Complete the full prescribed course
- Do not take with antacids simultaneously
